Bronzie - Mayor Island

Tuhua Reef - Mayor Island 13th December 2009

On our third dive of the day whilst rooting around 15m in the kelp taking photos, Wayne Kennedy and I spotted this bronze whaler shark. Little did we know above us Ben Mord had speared a 15kg Kingfish. No wonder it was excited! The shark had three passes before heading off! As I reached the surface, the guys on the boat didn't know what circled below as they chucked the burley over the side - a fast exit was made onto the deck!
